Dharma Ocean Canada is the sister organization of the Dharma Ocean Foundation based in Crestone, Colorado.

The Dharma Ocean Foundation is a non-profit educational foundation founded by Dr. Reggie Ray to preserve, transmit and extend the Dharma teachings of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, one of the pre-eminent practitioners, teachers and scholars of the Tibetan meditation tradition: See www.dharmaocean.org.
Dharma Ocean Canada Vancouver BC Chapter was established in 2007 with the aim of organizing meditation and bodywork retreats, programs, and seminars taught by Reggie Ray and other senior Dharma Ocean teachers for the Greater Vancouver community. Dharma Ocean Canada also provides access to electronic, audio and print resources developed by the Dharma Ocean Foundation and hosts a weekly evening Sangha sessions in the Vancouver area.

Vancouver Commercial Drive: Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at 300-2555 Commercial Drive, Vancouver (directly across from Broadway Skytrain station). We also hold a half-day nyinthun one weekend each month - please contact the coordinator at info@dharmaoceancanada.org to receive updates on location and time of the weekend sessions. All sessions involve guided meditation/bodywork exercises, and discussion/study group sessions led by local and visiting Dharma Ocean students and teachers. All are welcome. Please bring your own cushions and mats (some exercises are done lying down) and wear loose, comfortable, warm clothing. Drop-in, by donation.
Vancouver Main Street: Tuesdays from 8:00 to 9:00 pm at Sunset Community Center in the studio at 6810 Main Street. Learn breath meditations as taught by Reggie Ray. New and experienced meditators are welcome. Mats and cushions are provided. Drop-in, by donation.
New Westminster: Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00pm at 222 3rd Street. Please bring your own cushions and mats and wear loose, comfortable clothing. Drop-in, by donation. Contact Aleeta at aleetag(at)shaw.ca for more information.
